This role works closely with Chief Pilot of type and Flight Attendant Manager to ensure that best possible solutions are identified.</p> <p><span style="color: rgb(10, 81, 161);"><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Ensure crew is assigned to appropriate aircraft for trips and notify crewmembers of schedule changes</li> <li>Monitor pilot duty hours</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining and updating the crew schedule</li> <li>Monitor the passenger load to ensure highest internal crew utilization</li> <li>To the greatest extent possible, forecast the crew requirements for each season for recruitment purposes</li> <li>Maintain necessary communication with all crewmembers for crew schedule changes</li> <li>Utilization of crewmembers in the most efficient and expedient method necessary to ensure operational reliability</li> <li>Secure all necessary accommodations including but not limited to hotel and deadhead flight booking</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(10, 81, 161);"><strong>Must haves:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required</li> <li>Valid drivers license</li> <li>A minimum of two (2) years of successful related experience</li> <li>A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities</li> <li>Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support</li> <li>Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(10, 81, 161);"><strong>Nice to haves:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Previous airline experience</li> <li>Understanding of crew duty regulations&nbsp;</li> <li>Previous scheduling experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Administrative certificates&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(10, 81, 161);"><strong>Ready to join us?</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Submit your resume and cover letter explaining why you are an ideal fit for the role</li> <li>If selected, we'll reach out within 10 days for a brief introductory call</li> <li>Successful candidates will then proceed to an interview with our Recruiter and Hiring Manager</li> <li>We aim to make final decisions within 14 days of the initial call</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>At Air North, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible workplace.
