We are looking for someone who lives and breathes crypto — who&nbsp;understands the industry's key players, audience psychology, trading behaviours, and community dynamics&nbsp;well enough to consistently spot growth opportunities that others miss, and act on them decisively.</span></p> <div class="p-pdf_iframe__page" data-page-number="1"> <div class="textLayer" data-main-rotation="0"><span>Our Crypto business is a core strategic priority. We operate as a regulated crypto exchange serving traders </span><span>across multiple global markets, and we are in a phase of aggressive client acquisition. Disruptive, Low-Cost Crypto Growth Initiatives<br>▸ Own the identification and execution of growth plays specifically tailored to the crypto trading industry— not repurposed tactics from other verticals<br>▸ Continuously scan the crypto landscape to surface unconventional, high-leverage acquisition&nbsp;opportunities that competitors have overlooked: token launch moments, protocol migrations, bear/bull&nbsp;cycle sentiment shifts, regulatory tailwinds<br>▸ Design campaigns that resonate with crypto-native audiences — referral mechanics, viral on-chain&nbsp;incentives, community takeovers, co-marketing with Web3 projects, trading competitions, and airdrop-&nbsp;linked acquisition flows</span></p> <p><span>▸ Prioritise and rank opportunities using a rigorous scoring framework (ICE / RICE), presenting a clear&nbsp;pipeline of crypto-specific 'low-hanging fruit' to the CRO each month<br>▸ Stress-test every initiative against acquisition metrics before committing resources, ensuring&nbsp;maximum new-client ROI on growth spend<br>2. Strategic Partnerships for Acquisition<br>▸ Identify, approach, and cultivate high-value partnerships with crypto-native projects, DeFi protocols,&nbsp;NFT platforms, Web3 wallets, crypto media, and adjacent fintech brands<br>▸ Build and maintain a structured partnership pipeline in collaboration with the Head of Business&nbsp;Development, tracking status from first contact to live activation<br>▸ Negotiate co-marketing, co-branding, and distribution agreements that drive measurable new-user<br>acquisition at low CAC<br>▸ Develop partnership playbooks — standardised frameworks that allow Regional Heads to replicate&nbsp;and localise proven partnership models in their markets<br>3. Crypto Industry Intelligence &amp; Opportunity Spotting<br>▸ Serve as the team's primary authority on the crypto trading industry: its major exchanges, emerging&nbsp;protocols, DeFi trends, regulatory developments, audience segments, and shifting narratives<br>▸ Map the full crypto-native audience landscape — retail traders, DeFi power users, NFT participants,&nbsp;institutional desks, crypto-curious TradFi investors — and build targeted acquisition angles for each<br>▸ Track competitor exchange strategies (Binance, Coinbase, Bybit, OKX, Kraken and regional players)&nbsp;and identify positioning gaps our exchange can exploit for growth<br>▸ Monitor on-chain data, social sentiment, and market cycle dynamics to time growth campaigns for<br>maximum conversion impact<br>▸ Produce a recurring Crypto Growth Intelligence Brief shared with the CRO, Head of Marketing, and&nbsp; Regional Heads — translating market signals into actionable growth priorities<br>4. Playbook Creation &amp; Cross-Functional Enablement<br>▸ Convert successful growth experiments and partnerships into repeatable, documented playbooks tha&nbsp;can be handed off to Marketing, BD, and Regional teams for scaled execution<br>▸ Brief internal teams — Marketing, Performance &amp; Optimisation, Retention, and Regional Heads —&nbsp;with clear objectives, audience insights, messaging frameworks, and success metrics for each&nbsp;initiative<br>▸ Prepare and quality-control all necessary creative, content, and partnership assets in coordination&nbsp;with the relevant team owners<br>▸ Act as the internal growth authority: run workshops, share learnings, and upskill stakeholders on<br>emerging crypto growth tactics<br>5. Matrix Leadership &amp; Cross-Functional Influence<br>▸ Build trusted working relationships across Marketing, BD, Retention, Performance, and Regional&nbsp;teams — establishing credibility through insight and results, not hierarchy<br>▸ Drive alignment in cross-functional planning sessions; proactively resolve conflicts between team<br>priorities that could slow growth execution<br>▸ Hold teams accountable to joint growth commitments through shared dashboards, regular syncs, and&nbsp; transparent reporting to the CRO<br>▸ Identify blockers early and escalate strategically, keeping initiative momentum without creating friction<br></span></p> <p><span>R E Q U I R E M E N T S<br>Essential<br>▸ 5+ years in growth marketing, growth hacking, or strategic partnerships with direct, hands-on&nbsp;experience in the crypto or Web3 industry — this is non-negotiable</span></p> <p><span>▸ Genuine, deep knowledge of the crypto trading industry as a practitioner: exchanges (CEX &amp; DEX),&nbsp;DeFi mechanics, tokenomics, on-chain behaviour, and the communities, media, and influencers that&nbsp;shape the space<br>▸ Demonstrable track record of designing and executing low-budget, high-impact acquisition campaigns&nbsp;that drove meaningful growth in a crypto or fintech context<br>▸ Proven ability to spot under-exploited growth opportunities specific to crypto — a pattern-recognition<br>instinct for 'low-hanging fruit' in a fast-moving, cycle-driven market<br>▸ Experience building and managing strategic partnerships in the crypto ecosystem end-to-end:&nbsp;origination, negotiation, asset creation, and performance tracking<br>▸ Active participant in crypto communities (Twitter/X, Telegram, Discord, Farcaster) — you are known in&nbsp;the space, not just observing it<br>▸ Exceptional cross-functional influencing skills — a track record of driving results through teams you do&nbsp;not directly manage<br>▸ Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to author clear playbooks, briefs, and executive&nbsp;presentations<br>▸ Comfortable with analytics: able to define metrics, read dashboards, and draw actionable conclusions&nbsp;from data independently<br></span></p> <p><span>Preferred<br>▸ Prior experience specifically at a crypto exchange (CEX) — you understand the unique acquisition&nbsp;funnel dynamics, KYC friction, and trading-lifecycle of exchange users<br>▸ Existing network of crypto-native contacts: KOLs, protocol BD leads, crypto fund operators, crypto&nbsp;media editors, or community leaders<br>▸ Hands-on experience with on-chain analytics tools: Dune Analytics, Nansen, Glassnode, or equivalent— able to derive audience and timing insights from on-chain data<br>▸ Experience designing and executing token incentive schemes, airdrops, or trading competitions as&nbsp;acquisition mechanisms<br>▸ Understanding of KYC/AML funnel implications and how to optimise conversion within regulatory&nbsp;constraints<br>▸ Multilingual or multi-market experience across key crypto growth markets: MENA, SEA, EU, Turkey,&nbsp;or LatAm</span></p>
