Customer Service, Communication and English Skills in Action

As a Customer Service Agent at Amazon, you will play an essential role in providing first-class support to our diverse customer base. Core Responsibilities: Excellence in Customer Orientation & Sales

  • Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer queries via telephone, email, or chat, always in English.

  • Identify customer needs and offer relevant solutions, actively promoting suitable products or services when appropriate.

  • Collaborate within your team and with other departments to resolve complex inquiries and continuously improve service processes.

Required Skills: English Fluency, Communication, Sales Mindset

  • Exceptional English language proficiency, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service or related, client-facing roles, preferably within an international context.
  • A confident approach to upselling and supporting sales initiatives within service conversations.
  • Strong customer focus, with the ability to listen actively, understand needs, and deliver clear solutions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritise in fast-paced situations.
  • Background in customer service, contact centre, or sales support roles (advantageous but not required).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital communication tools.
  • Experience in achieving or surpassing customer satisfaction targets.
