Cyber Security Engineer-Senior Level

Actionline Ltd., is a Greek company that specializes in the provision of innovative human resources solutions. Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client (a leading company in the energy sector), for a Cyber Security Engineer/ Senior Level.

Description:

In your role, you will undertake core duties, such as:

• Implement, manage and enhance of Cyber Security solutions and tools.
• Liaise with Vendors and Lead Projects’ implementation related to Cyber Security solutions of organization.
• Collaborate and Coordinate with IT and development teams to design, implement and integrate security controls into systems, databases and applications.
• Continuously expand the monitoring scope based on the team’s detection and response maturity.
• Analyze, plan and implement security hardening, remediation actions and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity and potential impact related to central IT systems of infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Cyber Security.
• Mentor new team members.

Requirements

To be a successful candidate, your professional profile should match the following criteria:

• University or College Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or relevant technology-related field. MSc in Information Security will be considered a plus.
• At least 5 year working experience in in the cyber security domain.
• Experience with Endpoint & Email, Data and Identity security tools/techniques.  
• Deep Knowledge and hands-on experience with security solutions (Web Application Firewalls (WAF), XDR/EDR, SIEM, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Email Security, etc.).
• Experienced in Management of Vendors and Partners.
• Security related certifications will be considered a plus: CC, Security+, AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, BTL1, etc.
