What Success Looks Like in Your First 6 Months
- HubSpot CRM is clean and trusted. You have audited the full CRM, removed duplicates, standardised fields, fixed ownership and lifecycle stage assignments, and established a process to keep it that way. Sales and commercial teams can pull a report and trust the numbers.
- You have documented every major data source outside of HubSpot (invoicing, AWS, SharePoint, spreadsheets) and identified where the conflicts with HubSpot lie.
- You can produce a single, agreed-upon master customer list that reconciles HubSpot and invoicing data to within an acceptable margin of error.
- You have documented all interim processes so well that someone else could run them if needed.

Job overview
Improve the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data across the business. Support establishing foundations that make reporting possible by identifying inconsistencies, cleaning data, reconciling records across systems, and creating processes that improve data quality.
Working across platforms including HubSpot, Google Workspace, AWS, financial systems, and internal data repositories to help create a trusted source of truth for the business.

Key role functions
Data Audit & Map - Document where data currently lives across HubSpot, SharePoint/Google Drive, invoicing systems, AWS, and spreadsheets. Understand what each system claims to be true and where the conflicts are.
Clean & Standardise - Perform manual data cleansing, deduplication, and validation. Fix formatting issues, fill gaps, and flag records that cannot be reconciled.
Reconcile Across Systems - Compare data sets between platforms (e.g., matching customer records in HubSpot against invoicing data and AWS usage metrics) and resolve discrepancies.
Build Interim Workflows - Where automated integrations do not exist, create reliable manual processes and temporary workarounds to keep data flowing accurately.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain and govern the master data sets that the business will use for reporting and decision-making.
- Write clear, practical guides & operating procedures so that when you are not available, someone else knows how the data is structured and why.
- Develop repeatable processes for maintaining data integrity.
- Identify opportunities to improve data management and reduce manual effort.
Qualifications, competencies and experience
- A recent graduate in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, or data-integration tools
- Experience working with structured data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to document processes clearly and accurately.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities
Desirable but not necessary
- Exposure to CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Experience working with cloud platforms or SaaS applications.
- Understanding of data quality, governance, or reporting concepts.
