Job Description

 

Scorpios is looking for a Data Analyst who will have the accountability of performing analytical procedures in all Revenue streams and Cost centers. The successful applicant will hold a strategic role within Scorpios overseeing daily operations, safeguarding assets and enhancing internal controls.

Responsibilities

 

• Extract data from primary and secondary sources
• Remove corrupted data and fix errors and related problems
• Develop and maintain databases and data systems in general
• Reorganize data in readable and presentable format
• Perform analysis to assess quality and meaningful data
• Filter data by reviewing reports and KPIs
• Use statistical tools to identify, analyze and interpret patterns and trends
• Assign numerical values to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time
• Analyze local, national, and global trends that may impact both the organization and the industry
• Prepare reports for the management, states trends, patterns and predictions using relevant data
• Work closely with programmers, engineers, and management heads and identify process improvements, opportunities, propose system modifications and advise data governance strategies
• Prepare final analysis reports for the stakeholders
• Ad hoc analysis on subject matters
• General support of strategic decision making

 

 

Requirements

 

• Working experience in an analytical role for 1 to 3 years in either business analysis or financial analysis or relevant role
• Bachelor in an analytical field
• Post Graduate studies in an analytical or IT field are a considerable asset
• Proficient Knowledge in Structure Query Language (SQL)
• Good knowledge of R or Python statistical programming
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good knowledge of Data Visualization tools
• Very good presentation skills
• Very good knowledge of English language.
• European Union Nationality with available working permission
