If you join our team, you’ll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.</p> <h2>About the Role</h2> <p>We're hiring a <strong><strong class="textBold">Data Analytics Engineer</strong></strong> to surface the connections between GPU procurement, capacity planning, cost and margin, and financing decisions across the business.</p> <p>This role sits across <strong><strong class="textBold">Supply Chain, Finance, and Capacity</strong></strong>, helping build the analytical threads that link decisions made in each function. Before dedicated specialists are in place across these domains, you’ll extend the team’s reach by creating integrated analysis, partnering with the <strong><strong class="textBold">Senior Analytics Engineer</strong></strong>, and helping leadership see the full picture rather than a siloed view.</p> <p>Your work will help turn non-obvious business linkages into clearer, better-informed decisions. This is an opportunity to shape how Nscale thinks across critical parts of the business and to highlight where deeper analytical specialization will have the greatest impact.</p> <h2>What you'll be doing</h2> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Cross-Functional Analysis</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Float</strong></strong> across Supply Chain, Finance, and Capacity to build the analytical products each function needs.</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Identify</strong></strong> non-obvious connections between procurement, capacity, cost structures, margin, and vendor strategy.</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Surface</strong></strong> cross-domain insights to leadership with clear data and structured analysis behind them.</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Translate</strong></strong> decisions made in one part of the business into implications for adjacent functions.</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Leadership Briefings and Decision Support</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Write</strong></strong> integrated analytical memos and briefings that bring cross-functional context to key decisions.</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Frame</strong></strong> complex business questions in a way that helps leadership evaluate trade-offs across domains.</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Tailor</strong></strong> written outputs for different audiences, including stakeholders in Supply Chain and Finance.</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Present</strong></strong> a more complete business picture when decisions might otherwise be made with a narrow lens.</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Data and Analytics Development</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Partner</strong></strong> with the Senior Analytics Engineer to access the data needed from the <strong><strong class="textBold">Foundry</strong></strong> analytics layer.</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Build</strong></strong> datasets and reports in <strong><strong class="textBold">Foundry</strong></strong> or equivalent platforms to support business analysis.</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Flag</strong></strong> data coverage gaps across Supply Chain, Finance, and Capacity as they emerge.</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Create</strong></strong> useful analytical output even when problem statements or requirements are not fully defined.</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Team Evolution and Coverage Planning</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Help</strong></strong> scope the specialist roles that will eventually replace generalist coverage across these domains.</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Use</strong></strong> your cross-functional work to reveal where dedicated analytical capacity is most needed.</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Extend</strong></strong> team coverage during a period before domain-specific analytical roles are fully established.</li> </ul> <h2>KPIs</h2> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Integrated leadership memos and briefings delivered</strong></strong></li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Cross-domain business insights surfaced</strong></strong></li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Data coverage gaps identified across Supply Chain, Finance, and Capacity</strong></strong></li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Specialist role needs scoped based on cross-functional analysis</strong></strong></li> </ul> <h2>About You</h2> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">1–2 years</strong></strong> of analytics experience, with direct work across at least <strong><strong class="textBold">two business domains</strong></strong></li> <li value="2">Experience spanning combinations such as <strong><strong class="textBold">supply chain and finance</strong></strong>, <strong><strong class="textBold">operations and commercial</strong></strong>, or <strong><strong class="textBold">procurement and capacity planning</strong></strong></li> <li value="3">Strong interest in understanding <strong><strong class="textBold">how different parts of the business connect</strong></strong>, rather than going deep in only one area</li> <li value="4">Excellent written communication skills, including <strong><strong class="textBold">clear prose, structured arguments, and clean visuals</strong></strong></li> <li value="5">Ability to write effective analytical memos for different functional audiences, including <strong><strong class="textBold">Supply Chain</strong></strong> and <strong><strong class="textBold">Finance</strong></strong></li> <li value="6">Comfort operating in <strong><strong class="textBold">ambiguity</strong></strong> and orienting quickly in a new business domain</li> <li value="7">Skill in identifying the <strong><strong class="textBold">right analytical question</strong></strong> without needing a highly detailed brief</li> <li value="8">Enough technical range to <strong><strong class="textBold">build datasets and reports in Foundry or equivalent platforms</strong></strong></li> <li value="9"><strong><strong class="textBold">Foundry</strong></strong> experience is a bonus</li> <li value="10">Background in <strong><strong
