If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise data ecosystem. This role will define our data strategy, lead a newly formed data governance office, define standards and guidelines for our data platforms, and enable scalable analytics and AI capabilities across the organization.  This role ensures scalable, secure, and high-quality data solutions across the organization, aligning data initiatives with business objectives and technology roadmaps. Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Enterprise Data Architecture  <ul> <li>Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture vision, roadmap, and standards </li> <li>Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models across domains </li> <li>Establish data integration, storage, and access patterns (data lakes, warehouses, lakehouse) </li> <li>Align data architecture with enterprise architecture and business strategies </li> <li>Lead and own MDM (Master data Management) enabled by Stibo Systems Platform </li> </ul> Data Governance & Quality  <ul> <li>Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards </li> <li>Partner with data stewards to improve data quality, lineage, and metadata management </li> <li>Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) </li> <li>Lead the newly established DMO (Data Management Office) </li> </ul> Data Platforms & Technology  <ul> <li>Architect modern data platforms (cloud-first preferred: Azure, AWS, Databrics, Stibo Sistems) </li> <li>Lead design of batch and real-time data pipelines (ETL/ELT, streaming) </li> <li>Evaluate and select data tools, platforms, and technologies </li> <li>Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency </li> </ul> Integration & Interoperability  <ul> <li>Design enterprise integration patterns (APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures) </li> <li>Ensure seamless data exchange between applications, SaaS, and legacy systems </li> <li>Define canonical data models and data domains </li> </ul> Leadership & Collaboration  <ul> <li>Provide technical leadership to data engineers, modelers, and architects </li> <li>Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and IT leadership </li> <li>Mentor junior architects and promote data-driven culture </li> </ul> Analytics & AI Enablement  <ul> <li>Enable self-service analytics, BI, and advanced analytics capabilities </li> <li>Support AI/ML initiatives through well-architected data pipelines and feature stores </li> <li>Ensure data is accessible, trustworthy, and usable </li> </ul> Location & Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. </li> <li>This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
