Data / Cloud Engineer, Web3 Data Indexing

<p><strong>The Role:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>We need a Data &amp; Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize our data solutions within the cloud environment. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining data systems that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>In this role, you will:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and implement data architectures on cloud platforms, primarily AWS.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage data lifecycle, from ingestion to archiving, ensuring data integrity and compliance.&nbsp;</li> <li>Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for cost-efficiency and performance.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work with other engineers to integrate cloud solutions into the broader system architecture.&nbsp;</li> <li>Automate deployment and management of infrastructure using tools like Terraform.&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor system health, performance, and provide insights for continuous improvement.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>You might thrive in this role if you have:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.&nbsp;</li> <li>4+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud technologies.&nbsp;</li> <li>Proficiency in Solidity to integrate and work with smart contract and DeFi data systems.</li> <li>Proficiency in AWS services related to data management (e.g., S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB).&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipelines, and ETL processes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong analytical skills to translate data needs into cloud solutions.</li> </ul> <p>#LI-REMOTE</p>
