Data Insights Lead

In this role, you’ll help establish a modern, AI-enabled analytics capability that connects data with strategy. You’ll work closely with leaders to deliver insights that matter — enabling better, faster, and more confident decision-making.

We’re looking for someone who can combine technical expertise with commercial thinking — turning complex data into clear insights and practical actions that make a real impact.

About the role

As our Data Insights Lead, you’ll be responsible for shaping and leading ETEL's insights function. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to define priorities, deliver meaningful reporting and analytics, and build a strong data-driven culture across ETEL.

You’ll play a key role in strengthening our data capability — from dashboards and reporting through to advanced analytics and AI — ensuring the business has the tools and insights needed to perform and grow.

What you’ll be doing

• Translating complex data into clear insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
• Leading the insights roadmap and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business
• Delivering executive dashboards and scalable reporting solutions (Power BI)
• Enabling self-service analytics and improving data literacy across teams
• Applying advanced analytics and AI to drive faster, smarter decision-making
• Strengthening data quality, governance, and performance measurement practices
• Building and developing a high-performing insights capability

What you’ll bring

• Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or insights leadership
• Strong capability with Power BI, SQL, and data modelling
• Proven ability to influence decisions through data storytelling and insights
• Experience using AI tools (e.g. Copilot / GenAI)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment
