Data Integration Specialist - Python, AWS

QRT’s culture of innovation continuously drives our ambition to deliver high quality returns for our investors.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your future role within QRT</strong></p> <p><strong></strong></p> <ul> <li>Your core objective will be to collaborate with Researchers and Analyst to onboard data sources and signals through a centralized framework.</li> <li>You will contribute to the design and maintenance of datasets used for signal generation in trading strategies.</li> <li>You will also help develop robust data quality checks to enhance monitoring and ensure the longevity of data sources.</li> <li>Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating alternative datasets and building tools to automate data pipelines for faster and more reliable delivery.</li> <li>Finally, you will provide support to end users, including Quant Researchers and Traders.</li> </ul> <p><strong></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your present skillset</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years’ hands-on experience in data engineering</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with other engineers, quants and traders</li> <li>Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Python</li> <li>Experience with workflow orchestration frameworks (e.g. Argo, Airflow)</li> <li>Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and internal service integrations</li> <li>Experience with observability tools (e.g. Grafana, CloudWatch)</li> <li>Familiarity with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)</li> <li>Exposure to the front-end, particularly with regards to custom monitoring dashboards, is a plus</li> <li>Self-starter mentality with the ability to work autonomously within a globally distributed team</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
