You will benefit from mentorship and coaching from our industry experts.</p> <p>The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who enjoys working with data and using technology to address a never-ending stream of challenges on behalf of clients who have huge needs but lack the ability, experience, time, and/or tools to do it themselves.</p> <h3 style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Job Title: </strong>Senior<strong> </strong>Data Migration Developer_Oracle</h3> <h3 style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Position Type: </strong>Full Time</h3> <h3 style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Location:</strong> Hyderabad Office (Onsite)&nbsp;</h3> <div class="article-focus-flex-columns"> <div class="article-main-column career"> <div class="article-text career w-richtext"> <h2><strong>What You'll Be Doing:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Taking direct ownership of mission critical data requirements in a fast paced, collaborative work environment</li> <li>Delivering technology solutions to clients across industries, such as Manufacturing &amp; Distribution, Education &amp; Government, Consumer &amp; Industrial Products, and Life Sciences &amp; Healthcare</li> <li>Working with clients to understand their current data landscape and advising on the strategy to align with their future-state data landscape</li> <li>Designing and developing custom solutions for clients using a variety of software and programming tools, including Definian’s proprietary software product (Applaud), SQL, PowerShell, Excel, and VBA</li> <li>Using quantitative methods to derive actionable insights, patterns, and outcomes from data</li> <li>Learning leading enterprise software products such as Oracle, SAP, and Workday</li> <li>Becoming a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remaining up-to-date on industry news</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What You’ll Bring to the Team:</strong></h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Oracle data migration required.</li> <li>Deep, hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud data migrations across the full conversion lifecycle — extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, and reconciliation.</li> <li>Proficient in loading data to Oracle Cloud using standard tools such as FBDI, ADFDI, and HDL.</li> <li>Strong SQL proficiency including complex queries for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and validation.</li> <li>Develop and maintain conversion mapping documents, data templates, and transformation logic aligned to client and project requirements.</li> <li>Participate in requirement gathering sessions, planning tasks and estimated delivery dates (project planning), and escalation management.</li> <li>Designing and developing custom solutions using multiple programming tools including SQL, Excel, VBA, and PowerShell.</li> <li>Strong analytical mindset and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.</li> <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
