Data Platform Engineer

Must Have

• At least 2 years of experience with one or more cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or a similar system.

• At least 2 years of experience with the cloud-native ecosystem, containers, Kubernetes, etc.

• Basic proficiency in building and deploying with some of the technologies: Helm, Terraform

• Ability to work collaboratively with the team and independently on assigned tasks.

• Software developer experience at least 2-3 Years

Good To Have

• Familiarity with on ensuring efficiency, stability, observability and reliability in system operations.

• Experience with Data Lake architecture

• Python knowledge

• Cost and security-aware cloud development mindset

• Airflow maintanance

• Databricks, Spark

Your Tasks

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Building and maintaining scalable data platform infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm. Operating and improving our Apache Airflow environment — ensuring reliability, performance, and smooth upgrades.

• Supporting and evolving our Data Lake architecture.

• Managing and optimizing Databricks environments.

• Maintaining and extending our DataHub for metadata management, data discovery, and lineage tracking.

• Developing with Python to build platform tooling, automation, and integrations.

• Applying a cost and security-aware mindset when designing and operating cloud infrastructure.

• Supporting and assisting data teams with technical requests and platform onboarding.

• Participating in scaling and performance optimization efforts by identifying bottlenecks and suggesting solutions across the data stack.

• Working with our technical stack: Kubernetes, Python, Azure, AWS, Terraform, Helm, Airflow, Databricks, DataHub, DBT, Grafana Stack, ArgoCD
