This position uses scientific techniques to process and structure multi-source data, creating timely and actionable intelligence insights for JIOC personnel and supporting informed decisions across all mission areas. The Data Scientist designs and implements AI/ML and advanced automation solutions that enhance intelligence processes, building high-quality prediction systems and recommendation engines that significantly augment intelligence capabilities and enable critical warfighting functions.</li> <li>Perform complex statistical analysis and data modeling to extract actionable insights from intelligence datasets</li> <li>Design and implement advanced data visualizations to enable all aspects of JIOC intelligence operations</li> <li>Develop and validate statistical models that identify patterns, trends, and relationships within diverse intelligence sources</li> <li>Create and contribute to implementing AI/ML algorithms and AI/ML-enabled systems in support of JIOC intelligence operations</li> <li>Conduct exploratory data analysis across internal and external sources to support intelligence analysis</li> <li>Develop automated processes for data integration and conditioning to enhance all-source analysis</li> <li>Collaborate with analysts and computer scientists to design and implement new data processes</li> <li>Create algorithms and scripts to automate manual tasks and enhance analytical capabilities</li> <li>Improve data quality, search capabilities, and predictive models to support intelligence operations</li> <li>Apply experimental design principles to test hypotheses and evaluate intelligence processes</li> <li>Evaluate existing data capabilities and recommend solutions for the intelligence enterprise</li> <li>Perform systems analysis to define specifications for new or enhanced intelligence databases</li> <li>Identify redundancies and develop solutions for efficient data integration</li> <li>Work with intelligence analysts and operators to determine requirements and create effective data solutions</li> <li>Actively participate in JIOC intelligence planning conferences and exercises, J2 working groups, intelligence system capability development meetings, Joint and national-level intelligence coordination boards, and technical exchange meetings with mission partners</li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><u>Qualifications</u></span></h3> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Advanced expertise in multiple programming languages and analytical frameworks</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Expert knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and artificial intelligence applications</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Comprehensive understanding of large-scale multi-INT analytics</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Demonstrated success implementing advanced predictive models in operational environments</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience developing custom analytical solutions for complex intelligence challenges</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Advanced proficiency with cloud computing platforms and big data architectures</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience leading data science initiatives and mentoring junior data scientists</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong understanding of the intelligence enterprise and mission requirements</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into operational impact</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience with DevOps practices and production deployment of data science solutions</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><u>Security Clearance:</u></span></h3> <ul> <li>TS/SCI with CI Polygraph</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><em>Core One is an&nbsp;Equal Opportunity Employer.
