The customer develops secure digital banking platforms and financial solutions to serve a diverse global client base.</p> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Plan, develop, and execute technical support activities for users and database infrastructure maintenance services, both remotely and on-site</li> <li>Provide guidance and support to users by registering, analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving database-related requests</li> <li>Troubleshoot database issues and support migrations, service implementations, and technology transfers</li> <li>Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure database reliability and performance</li> <li>Monitor database performance, capacity, and availability to proactively identify and resolve issues</li> <li>Administer and configure database management systems while adhering to security best practices</li> <li>Ensure compliance with SLA requirements related to response times, escalations, and downtime communications</li> <li>Maintain and update technical documentation to support long-term database sustainability and operational excellence</li> <li>Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to ensure seamless database operations</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring</h3> <ul> <li>Experience supporting and administering databases in Production, Testing, and Development environments</li> <li>Hands-on experience with:</li> <li>SQL Server (Required)</li> <li>Oracle (Required)</li> <li>Understanding of database administration fundamentals, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance</li> <li>Experience administering backup and storage solutions</li> <li>Knowledge of database security concepts, backup and recovery processes, and performance monitoring</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic support environment</li> <li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong customer-service mindset</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB</li> <li>Experience working with cloud environments, preferably AWS</li> <li>Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, PowerShell, or Unix scripting</li> <li>SQL Server and/or Oracle certifications</li> <li>English and/or Spanish language skills</li> <li>Exposure to financial services or enterprise-scale environments</li> </ul> <h3>English level</h3> <p>Intermediate</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Location: Hybrid (São Paulo, Brazil)</p> <p>Work Schedule: Night Shift (10:00 PM – 10:00 AM)</p> <p>Rotation: 12x36 Schedule&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3>Legal &amp; Hiring Information</h3> <ul> <li>Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more</li> <li>Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</li> <li>Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
