Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at Zulzi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely, safe, and accurate delivery of food parcels and groceries to customers within our operating areas. You will play a key role in representing Zulzi and ensuring a positive customer experience during each delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely collect and deliver grocery orders to customers on time.
• Handle all products with care and ensure the accuracy of each delivery.
• Communicate professionally with customers and store teams.
• Maintain a clean, well-presented vehicle and uphold high hygiene standards.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, delivery routes, and company policies.
• Use the Zulzi app effectively to receive and manage delivery tasks.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or delivery challenges promptly.
• Uphold Zulzi’s values of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.

Requirements

1. Must own or have access to a roadworthy car or motorbike suitable for delivery work.
2. Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Code A/A1 for motorbike or Code B for car).
3. Traffic Register Number (for foreign nationals).
4. Valid ID, Passport, or Asylum Document.
5. Proof of Residence (not older than 3 months).
6. Clean Driving Record and willingness to undergo background checks.
7. No criminal record and consent to a criminal record check.
8. Valid Vehicle License Disk and Roadworthy Certificate (where applicable).
9. Active Bank Account and proof of bank account ownership.
   
10. Good communication and customer service skills.
11. Ability to use smartphone applications (GPS navigation, Zulzi delivery app, etc.).
12. Must have or be willing to obtain basic delivery equipment, including:
13. Helmet and reflective jacket (for bike drivers - Zulzi Will provide).
    
14. Phone mount and charger/power bank.
15. Previous delivery or courier experience will be an advantage.
16. Must be reliable, punctual, and professional at all times.
17. Willingness to comply with company tracking, safety, and conduct policies.

Additional Notes

Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

All applicants must undergo document verification before being onboarded.

Selected applicants will be required to attend a brief orientation and training session prior to activation.
