About the role

Job Summary

Our company is developing a cutting-edge wireless communication system to connect multiple portable devices. Long range, high data rates, low latency, resistance to interferences, and multipath make this problem particularly challenging, giving the candidate unique opportunities to research, design, and implement the next-generation radio communication systems.

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join our team in Eindhoven. Operating at the intersection of cutting-edge engineering and complex program governance, you will own the full project lifecycle - from requirements to capture and planning through to acceptance testing, field deployment, and in-service support transitions.

You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams of talented engineers and PhD scientists, systems architects, software developers, and sub-contractors, ensuring that scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk are actively managed and that stakeholders receive clear, timely, and accurate reporting at all times.

This role demands a delivery leader with both technical credibility and commercial acumen: someone who understands robotic platforms, autonomous systems, or complex electro-mechanical products and can translate technical complexity into program clarity.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full lifecycle delivery of robotics and autonomous systems projects, from concept through deployment and sustainment.
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and critical paths, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs, reporting progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Oversee vendor and subcontractor performance, ensuring contractual obligations and deliverables are met.
  • Support product validation, testing, and field deployment activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation, configuration management, and traceability across all project phases.
  • Establish strong cross-functional and partner collaboration to support ongoing requirements capture and change management.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Adaptability and resilience in complex, mission-critical environments.
  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and documentation.
  • Ability to drive project to success in fast-paced, high-stakes environments with evolving requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including executive-level reporting.

Technical Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical or Hardware Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Track record of successfully delivering complex engineering programs in automotive, robotics, aerospace or deep tech environments.
  • High proficiency with planning tools and project management techniques.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and product development lifecycles.
  • Proven experience working with and coordinating external stakeholders and partners.
