VeUP NAMER | Demand Generation Specialist
Headquartered in Monaco but with bases in the UK and the US, VeUp is a VC tech fund and consultancy founded by experienced investors and tech executives. The VeUp fund exclusively targets hyper-growth technology businesses, with a particular focus on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). The mission is to support SMEs to growth and scale with focused SaaS consulting services, AWS resell capability and potential funding and investment.
VeUp is scaling up globally supporting SaaS start-ups with technology and alliance expertise that is engineered to accelerate growth. We are looking for a Demand Generation Representative based in Austin, Texas to help grow our reach in the start-up community.
As a Demand Generation Representative, responsibilities include identifying and sourcing new resell and service opportunities for VeUP. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong aptitude for sales. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with cold outreach via email and phone call to start-up executives, who can jump in as needed to articulate VeUP’s value proposition, who can help create slide decks, write emails, and support with other sales programming and lead generation needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating compelling emails, PowerPoints, and phone scripts that attract, engage, educate, and nurture prospective start-ups on VeUP’s value proposition.
- Partner with Sales leadership to help support new customer acquisition in North America. Inform Sales leadership of any customer trends and make recommendations for further improvement.
- Generate new leads through cold outreach.
- Research potential VeUP customers through Crunchbase, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other lead sourcing tools.
- Identify opportunities for content creation to enhance the value of generated leads.
- Communicate VeUP’s service offerings, address customer concerns, and qualify leads for closure.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communication Studies
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or marketing, with a focus on lead and demand generation
- Strong B2B sales experience
- Passion for cutting edge technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS and start-up ecosystems
- Experience with Hubspot
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
