ROLE

We are looking for a bright, dedicated professional who will be part of the F&B Team as a Demi Chef de Rang, supporting the Restaurant team and satisfying all guest needs and exceeding their expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serves meals to guests according to the rules of etiquette; prepares dining room and server stations to fulfill this function;
• Satisfying guest needs and exceeding their expectations by projecting a positive hotel image through proper grooming, appropriate verbal communication, and taking responsibility of guest needs;
• Knowledge of all menu items and accompanying silverware;
• Informing the kitchen of any special requests or needs ;
• Recording and passing on any useful information to the host/hostess such as special occasions, etc;
• Communicate with other servers or back servers to see if they need any help;
• Keeping high personal grooming standards and maintaining a neat uniform;

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-year previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality sector;
• Need to be competent in the use of Micros;
• Knowledge of dining room and kitchen procedures helpful;
• Good communication skills;
• Excellent presentation and grooming standard;
• Fluent in English and an additional language is considered a plus;
