Deployment Logistics Coordinator

<p>Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.</p> <p>We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement of robots, spare parts, data collection equipment, and other materials between Figure HQ, customer sites, and field deployments. This role will be the central point of coordination for all field logistics working closely with our deployment, data collection, service, manufacturing and manufacturing teams to ensure all of our offsite operations run smoothly.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Schedule, track, and manage deployment and return of robots and equipment between HQ, customer pilot sites, and field data collection locations.</li> <li>Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including freight carriers, customs documentation, and delivery timelines.</li> <li>Maintain accurate, real-time records of robot and equipment inventory in the field with locations, status, and availability.</li> <li>Own the process for preparing, inspecting, and documenting equipment before deployment and upon return.</li> <li>Serve as the primary logistics point of contact across Commercial Operations, ensuring clear communication on availability, schedules, and any delays or issues.</li> <li>Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, shipping costs, and deployment history.</li> <li>When needed, travel to customer sites or events to support equipment setup, handoff, or retrieval.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years experience in logistics, shipping, asset management, or field operations coordination</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail</li> <li>Excellent communication skills - comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and external partners</li> <li>Proficiency with tracking systems, spreadsheets, and project management tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Jira, Confluence)</li> <li>Valid driver's license; willingness to travel up to 25% of the time</li> <li>Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong>:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or hardware company logistics</li> <li>Familiarity with international shipping, customs, and import/export documentation</li> <li>Experience supporting trade shows, demos, or customer events</li> <li>Exposure to inventory management systems or ERP tools</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $50 - $60 / hour.</p> <p>The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
