About the role
About the role: We are looking for a Deputy Head of the Customs Agency to support the organization and supervision of customs processes. The position requires strong leadership skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various operational and management departments.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure proper application and compliance with customs permits.
- Represent the organization before customs and tax authorities.
- Supervise customs records, declarations, and reports.
- Lead and develop the team of customs agents and assistants.
- Collaborate with forwarding, warehouse, and management departments on critical processes.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy in customs declarations.
Candidate profile
- Registered Customs Agent (mandatory requirement).
- Higher education degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in customs, with at least 1 year in a coordinator or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of customs and tax law (EU Customs Code, VAT Act, Excise Duty Act).
- English at a communicative level (client interaction).
- Proficiency in MS Office and the PUESC platform (knowledge of Huzar is an advantage).

Work model
Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:00.
Occasional Saturdays if required.
