Position Title:       Deputy Manager – Corporate Communications

Reports To:           DGM – Communications, ISEAM

Role Type:             Individual Contribution 

Location:               Pune / Gurgaon

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Role Purpose

 

Lead external communications, media relations, and brand communication for SKF Industrial in India, South East Asia and Middle East, driving a consistent and high-impact narrative across stakeholders.

The role will own PR execution, media engagement, corporate disclosures, and brand visibility, working closely with regional and global teams to ensure alignment with brand standards and business priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities

Media & Public Relations

  • Drive execution of media and PR strategy to strengthen share of voice (SOV), visibility, and brand reputation
  • Manage relationships with media, PR agencies, and industry platforms
  • Lead PR for product launches, leadership communication, thought leadership, and key milestones
  • Develop and monitor press releases, media kits, bylined articles, and leadership profiling content in collaboration with PR agency

 

Corporate Communications & Investor Interface

  • Support communication for annual reports, quarterly results, AGM, and investor communication
  • Develop communication materials including press releases, presentations, and analyst/investor updates
  • Coordinate earnings calls, media briefings, and investor interactions in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines

 

 

Brand & External Communication

  • Ensure consistent execution of brand communication across PR, social media, and campaigns
  • Act as custodian of brand guidelines, messaging consistency, and content quality
  • Work with marketing and business teams to amplify campaigns, product launches, and events across media
  • Manage development of brand assets in collaboration with agencies and vendors

 

Content & Narrative Development

  • Create high-quality content across formats including press releases, articles, leadership communication, and digital content
  • Translate business priorities into clear, compelling external narratives
  • Align messaging with regional and global communication frameworks

 

Regional & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with ISEAM and global communications teams to align messaging and leverage cross-market opportunities
  • Partner with marketing, sales, HR, and CSR teams to support business priorities through communication
  • Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders for seamless execution
  •  

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or media relations
  • Mix of agency and in-house experience preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
