About the role
<p>Support the Registered Manager in the daily management of the residential home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and providing leadership to the care team.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff</li>
<li>Ensure all care is child-centred and meets statutory requirements</li>
<li>Support in inspections and audits</li>
<li>Manage rotas, risk assessments, and incident reporting</li>
<li>Act as Manager in their absence</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Essential Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it)</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare</li>
<li>Knowledge of relevant legislation (Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards)</li>
<li>Strong leadership and organisational skills</li>
<li>Enhanced DBS check</li>
