As a Medical Assistant, you'll work side-by-side with physicians and clinical staff to create an outstanding patient experience from check-in to check-out. What You'll Do:

• Welcome and prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and documenting medical histories accurately.
• Assist physicians during dermatology exams and procedures by providing instruments, supplies, and clinical support.
• Perform basic laboratory testing and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance standards.
• Coordinate scheduling and support smooth office communication.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines to promote positive outcomes.
• Keep exam rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification highly preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role, ideally within dermatology.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
