About the role
The purpose of this job is to act as Sr. Engineer in the design and development of complex major engineering projects for release to production in a manner to ensure products provide superior performance, durability, quality and serviceability.
- Lead the conception, design, and development of complex engineering projects, including feasibility studies and the definition of innovative concepts.
- Coordinate engineering teams by delegating tasks, guiding analysis and simulation activities, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
- Serve as a technical leader, collaborating with manufacturing plants, corporate functions, and cross-functional teams to evaluate and enhance product performance.
- Oversee product and prototype testing, while identifying, defining, and resolving design and manufacturing issues in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous innovation by monitoring emerging technologies, developing patentable solutions, and supporting projects globally through travel and on-site problem resolution.
Experience and qualifications:
- Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineer
- Project Management post-graduation
- Knowledge and experience with agricultural machinery
- Manufacturing processes
- Product Development Engineering lifecycle
- Fluent English
