This role calls for a designer who is equal parts conceptual thinker and expert craftsperson—someone who thrives in a fast-paced studio environment and brings strong creative instincts to every project.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">You'll collaborate across MATTE's diverse portfolio of clients and internal teams to create bold, elevated work across branding, campaigns, experiential, content, and digital platforms. Reporting to a Design Director, you'll own projects from ideation through execution, helping shape visual direction while delivering exceptional creative work.</p> <h2>What You'll Do</h2> <h3>Design Execution &amp; Creative Leadership</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Concept and design innovative, compelling creative across digital, print, experiential, social, and brand platforms.</li> <li>Lead the visual development of branded content, campaigns, and experiences from concept through final execution.</li> <li>Translate strategic insights into thoughtful and visually engaging creative solutions.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with strategists, copywriters, producers, and creative leadership to bring ideas to life.</li> <li>Adapt design systems and creative approaches across a variety of industries, brands, and audiences while maintaining a high level of craft and consistency.</li> <li>Present design rationale and creative thinking internally and to clients when appropriate.</li> </ul> <h3>Collaboration &amp; Cross-Functional Support</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Partner with the New Business team to create pitch decks, mockups, visual narratives, and presentation materials that help win new work.</li> <li>Lead and support project teams across multiple clients and workstreams.</li> <li>Participate actively in creative reviews, brainstorms, critiques, and team discussions.</li> <li>Design and format visually compelling presentations aligned with both MATTE and client brand standards.</li> <li>Ensure all deliverables are production-ready and organized according to studio best practices.</li> <li>Mentor and support more junior designers through collaboration, feedback, and example-setting.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>5–7 years of professional design experience within an agency, creative studio, or brand environment.</li> <li>A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, visual excellence, and execution across branding, digital, print, campaigns, and experiential work.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.</li> <li>Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual systems, color theory, and art direction.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.</li> <li>Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.</li> <li>Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary creative teams.</li> <li><strong>Currently based in Mexico City (CDMX)&nbsp;</strong></li> <li>Motion design, animation, AI-assisted creative workflows, or 3D experience are considered a plus.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>MXN $850,000–$1,050,000 gross annual salary</strong>, depending on experience, portfolio quality, and overall qualifications.</p> <h2>Benefits</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Private medical insurance</li> <li>Aguinaldo above statutory requirements</li> <li>Vacation days and vacation premium in accordance with company policy</li> <li>Hybrid work model</li> <li>Wellness initiatives and employee programming</li> <li>Paid parental leave</li> <li>End-of-year studio recharge period</li> <li>Professional growth and development opportunities</li> <li>Opportunity to work alongside global brands and multidisciplinary creative teams</li> </ul> <h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2> <p>Everyone is welcome at MATTE.
