This role is ideal for a strong visual thinker with 2–4 years of experience who is excited to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment while contributing to globally recognized brands and experiences.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">You'll help create thoughtfully crafted work across digital, experiential, brand, content, and campaign platforms—bringing ideas to life through strong design fundamentals, attention to detail, and a passion for creative excellence.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">As a Designer at MATTE, you'll support projects from concept through execution, helping translate creative ideas into polished, high-quality deliverables while maintaining brand integrity and studio standards.</p> <h2>What You'll Do</h2> <h3>Design Execution &amp; Craft</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Design compelling creative across digital, print, experiential, and social platforms under the guidance of senior creative leadership.</li> <li>Support the development of visual concepts for campaigns, branded content, and experiences—from initial layouts through final production-ready assets.</li> <li>Execute design work that aligns with established creative direction, brand systems, and client objectives.</li> <li>Apply strong typography, layout, color, and composition skills to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.</li> <li>Assist in preparing files for production across both digital and physical environments.</li> </ul> <h3>Collaboration &amp; Team Support</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Partner closely with Design Directors, Creative Directors, Strategists, Copywriters, Producers, and Project Managers throughout the creative process.</li> <li>Support new business efforts through pitch materials, visual storytelling, and presentation design.</li> <li>Contribute to creative reviews, brainstorms, and team critiques by sharing ideas, references, and design perspectives.</li> <li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities, deadlines, and evolving creative needs.</li> <li>Design and format presentations and creative decks in alignment with MATTE and client brand standards.</li> <li>Organize and maintain project files according to studio best practices.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Currently based in Mexico City (CDMX)</strong></li> <li>2–4 years of professional design experience within an agency, studio, or brand environment.</li> <li>A portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals, creative thinking, and execution across digital, print, branding, and experiential work.</li> <li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.</li> <li>Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craft.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Motion design, animation, AI-assisted creative workflows, or 3D experience are considered a plus.</li> </ul> <h2>Compensation</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong data-start="136" data-end="181">MXN $700,000–$800,000 gross annual salary</strong>, depending on experience, portfolio quality, and overall qualifications.</p> <h2>Benefits</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Private medical insurance</li> <li>Aguinaldo above statutory requirements</li> <li>Vacation days and vacation premium in accordance with company policy</li> <li>Hybrid work model</li> <li>Wellness initiatives and employee programming</li> <li>Paid parental leave</li> <li>End-of-year studio recharge period</li> <li>Professional growth and development opportunities</li> <li>Opportunity to work alongside global brands and multidisciplinary creative teams</li> </ul> <h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Everyone is welcome at MATTE.
