Desktop Support Engineer

We're looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our growing team in Cluj-Napoca. <br>You’ll play a key role in shaping how our global teams interact with technology—delivering smart, reliable solutions and first-class support.</p> <p>In this role, you’ll balance hands-on technical support with infrastructure improvement projects. You'll also be a core part of onboarding, offboarding, and daily troubleshooting for 500+ users worldwide — while helping maintain and improve our internal tools and systems.</p> <h4>What you’ll be doing</h4> <ul> <li>Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to our global team, focusing on excellent customer service and clear communication.</li> <li> <p>Manage incidents and service requests within SLAs using our ITSM tool.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support IT hardware and endpoint lifecycle management (Mac, Windows, Ubuntu).</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist in improving and maintaining our IT tool stack, including Google Workspace, Atlassian (Jira &amp; Confluence), Slack, JAMF/Mosyle, and Okta.</p> </li> <li> <p>Deliver seamless IT onboarding/offboarding experiences for new joiners, movers, and leavers.</p> </li> <li> <p>Document support processes and contribute to our internal knowledge base (Confluence).</p> </li> <li> <p>Act as a local subject matter expert, especially for system issues raised by our software engineering teams.</p> </li> <li> <p>Champion IT best practices across the business and support security posture improvements.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li class="" data-start="1789" data-end="1855"> <p class="" data-start="1791" data-end="1855">2+ years’ experience in a similar role.</p> </li> <li class="" data-start="1856" data-end="1918"> <p class="" data-start="1858" data-end="1918">Comfortable working in a scale-up or fast-paced environment.</p> </li> <li class="" data-start="1919" data-end="2005"> <p class="" data-start="1921" data-end="2005">Hands-on experience with with at least one operating system (Mac, Windows, Ubuntu/Linux).</p> </li> <li class="" data-start="2006" data-end="2099"> <p class="" data-start="2008" data-end="2099">Strong troubleshooting skills, with a proactive and resourceful approach to solving issues.</p> </li> <li class="" data-start="2100" data-end="2154"> <p class="" data-start="2102" data-end="2154">Familiar with ITSM tools and service desk workflows.</p> </li> <li class="" data-start="2155" data-end="2273"> <p class="" data-start="2157" data-end="2273">Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills—able to support colleagues across all levels and time zones.</p> </li> <li class="" data-start="2274" data-end="2325"> <p class="" data-start="2276" data-end="2325">Attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.</p> </li> <li class="" data-start="2326" data-end="2399"> <p class="" data-start="2328" data-end="2399">Experience documenting processes and procedures clearly and accessibly.</p> </li> </ul> <h4><strong>Nice to have:</strong>&nbsp;</h4> <ul> <li class="" data-start="2422" data-end="2530"> <p class="" data-start="2424" data-end="2530">Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Jira Service Management, and HR platforms like HiBob.</p> </li> <li class="" data-start="2531" data-end="2582"> <p class="" data-start="2533" data-end="2582">Experience supporting remote/hybrid environments.</p> </li> <li class="" data-start="2583" data-end="2668"> <p class="" data-start="2585" data-end="2668">Awareness of information security principles and secure service delivery practices.</p> </li> </ul> <h4><strong>What’s in it for you? </strong>&nbsp;</h4> <ul> <li>Competitive salary aligned to your skills and experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Equity as we want you to have a part of what we are building&nbsp;</li> <li>Unlimited Time Off Policy- A work-life balance and focus on our well-being are critical to keeping us performing at our best&nbsp;</li> <li>We embrace a hybrid approach that requires employees to be in the office for two days a week.
