About the role
We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join our team and work with a leading banking institution to ensure seamless IT operations.
Experience: 4+ years in IT Operations (3+ years in banking preferred)
Availability: Immediate joiners preferred
Requirements
As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will:
- Provide technical support for devices and platforms such as Windows 10, Mac OS, iOS, Android, Microsoft Surface, and more.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Manage and resolve tickets while adhering to SLAs and maintaining proper documentation.
- Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience is essential.
- Experience:
- 4+ years of IT operations experience in large-scale environments (4000+ users).
- At least 3 years of experience supporting IT operations within the banking sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in end-user technologies, including troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues.
- Strong understanding of Avaya, Polycom, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and ITIL practices.
- Knowledge of IT service tools and processes to drive operational excellence.
- Behavioral Competencies:
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex tasks effectively.
