Despatch Operator (CASUAL) (internal JNL candidates ONLY)

Internal Opportunity: Casual Despatch Operator
Location: Kaitaia Mills

We’re looking for expressions of interest from anyone thinking about retiring or stepping away from full-time work, but keen to stay connected with JNL on a casual basis.

This casual Despatch role will provide cover when the full time Despatch Operator is on leave and help keep things running smoothly in the despatch area.

What you’ll be doing

• Keeping product flowing through despatch
• Dispatching the right goods onto the right trucks
• Booking trucks for deliveries
• Checking freight invoices against dockets
• Working with planners to align production and delivery
• Supporting stock counts and export shipments
• Helping maintain safe, tidy, and well-organised workspaces

What we’re looking for

Experience (preferred):

• Forklift experience (2+ years ideal)
• Experience in despatch or a similar role

Skills & attributes:

• Good problem solving and organisation skills
• Strong communication and ability to build relationships
• Attention to detail and ability to juggle priorities
• Focus on health & safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Comfortable using standard business systems (JDE experience a bonus)
• Reliable, resilient, and team-focused
