By prioritizing American manufacturing and domestic energy production, the company invests in U.S. jobs, strengthens local economies, and advances the country’s energy independence.</span></span></span></p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <p>As part of a growing company and team, the successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly, identify areas of improvement and implement solutions, while balancing other responsibilities. This position is highly visible, with regular interactions with other departments and executives. The Senior Associate, Development Accounting will perform a wide range of accounting duties as part of the team and autonomously within the Accounting and Finance team.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Actively participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately.&nbsp;</li> <li>Complete Blackline reconciliations and reporting packages timely and accurately.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare journal entries and review coding in support of monthly closings.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist external auditors and tax compliance professionals.&nbsp;</li> <li>Coordinate with related internal and external parties to prepare monthly draw packages.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with controls, corporate policies, and statutory requirements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Review and approve vendor payments.&nbsp;</li> <li>Reconcile intercompany relationships and balances, including research and resolving discrepancies.&nbsp;</li> <li>Identify and communicate potential issues and/or opportunities on processes to Accounting Manager.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure consistency among processes and support operations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform additional tasks as assigned by Accounting Manager.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance required</li> <li>A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working within an accounting department and/or in public accounting.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.</li> <li>Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Administrative, organizational and communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated self-starter, and team player attitude.</li> <li>Ability to follow through on assigned tasks from start to finish, including ability to research, analyze and solve problems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>CPA license or eligible to sit for CPA exam is preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prior experience with Utility Scale Renewable Energy a plus.</li> <li>Experience working for, or with, an organization with multiple related entities.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of NetSuite, PowerBI and related accounting information systems, or related applications preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join Arevon? </strong></p> <p>We believe you should love what you do and love where you work, which is why we offer a wide range of benefits to support your personal and professional well-being.</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Compensation and Incentives</li> <li>Generous Paid Time Off</li> <li>Flexible Work Environment</li> <li>401(k) Plan with 6% Company match</li> <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li> <li>Paid Parental and Caregiver Leave</li> <li>Inspiring Company Culture</li> <li>Professional Development Opportunities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer Statement</strong></p> <p>Arevon is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
