<p>Medical Informatics Engineering seeks an intern with experience in software design, coding and debugging. The intern will gain exciting real-world software engineering experience at a thriving company. We frequently work in small teams to solve problems, explore new technologies, and learn from one another. The ideal intern for this environment will be enthusiastic and collaborative.</p>

<p>Document and test new software applications</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assess new application ideas</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Research competitor offerings</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Develop applications (coding, programming)</p>
</li>

<p>Interview beta testers</p>
</li>
</ul>

<h2>Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, or Mathematics major</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent analytical and mathematics skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to work in teams</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience programming in C, C++, or Java</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to log time (hourly position)</p>
</li>
</ul>

<p>Physical/Mental Essential Requirements</p>

<p>Walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, moderate lifting and carrying (up to thirty (30) pounds). </p>

<p>Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. </p>
</li>

<p>Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. </p>
</li>

<p>Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods of time. </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to focus on detail and accuracy of work product. </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work is performed primarily in a non-smoking office environment, though travel may expose employee to inclement weather conditions. </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Occasional high stress may be experienced.</p>
</li>
