<h3><strong>Your Mission</strong></h3>
<p>As <strong>DevOps Lead</strong>, you’ll be the driving force behind Canopy’s <strong>infrastructure, reliability, and security posture</strong>, ensuring our systems are <strong>scalable, automated, compliant, and resilient</strong>. You’ll lead the evolution of our cloud environment and CI/CD pipelines, empowering the engineering organization to move fast while maintaining high standards for <strong>security, uptime, and SLA performance</strong>.</p>
<p>You’ll collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and data teams to design end-to-end deployment and monitoring strategies, manage CVE remediation SLAs, and ensure that Canopy’s platform operates with <strong>the reliability and trust our healthcare partners expect</strong>.</p>
<h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Own Infrastructure Strategy</strong> – Design and evolve Canopy’s cloud architecture for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.</li>
<li><strong>Automate Everything</strong> – Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated deployment systems.</li>
<li><strong>Security & Compliance</strong> – Enforce security best practices, maintain strong compliance posture (including CVE scanning, patching, and SLA enforcement).<br><br></li>
<li><strong>Own Monitoring - Drive Observability – </strong>Design, implement, and maintain Canopy’s monitoring infrastructure and alerting systems. Own the end-to-end monitoring solutions while enabling engineering teams with self-service observability tools, metrics, and insights for proactive issue detection.</li>
<li><strong>Collaborate Cross-Functionally</strong> – Work with product and engineering teams to align infrastructure priorities with business goals. Collaboration and work with automation lead to drive automation for our product.</li>
<li><strong>Mentor & Lead</strong> – Guide and promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.<br><br></li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>8+ years</strong> of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.</li>
<li>Deep expertise with <strong>GCP </strong>(Advantage)<strong> or AWS</strong>, <strong>Kubernetes</strong>, and <strong>containerized microservices</strong>.</li>
<li>Proven track record managing <strong>security pipelines</strong> (vulnerability scanning,SAST, DAST, dependency management).</li>
<li>Strong experience with <strong>IaC tools</strong> (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).</li>
<li>Expertise in <strong>CI/CD automation</strong> (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, etc.).</li>
<li>Skilled in <strong>monitoring and observability stacks</strong> (Newrelic, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).</li>
<li>A solid understanding of <strong>CVE tracking</strong>, remediation processes, and meeting defined <strong>security SLAs</strong>.</li>
<li>Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor engineers and drive collaboration across teams</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Bonus Points</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience working in <strong>regulated industries</strong> (healthcare, fintech, or enterprise SaaS).<br><br><br></li>
<li>Familiarity with <strong>compliance frameworks</strong> such as SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.<br><br></li>
<li>Passion for improving system <strong>resilience</strong>, <strong>performance</strong>, and <strong>incident response maturity</strong>.<br><br></li>
