Juvare helps our clients prepare, connect, and respond to protect people, property, and brands.</div><h2>Role Overview</h2> We are hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help operate and continuously improve the cloud platforms that power Juvare’s mission-critical enterprise resilience solutions. In this role, you’ll own day-to-day cloud operations and service reliability for regional clients and global environments, partnering across Engineering, Security, and customer teams to coordinate deployments, incidents, and escalations across multiple time zones.  <h2>Location</h2> <ul> <li>Melbourne, AU</li> <li>Wellington, NZ</li> </ul> <h2>Must Have</h2> <ul> <li>Strong experience with AWS and Azure, with a cloud-agnostic mindset</li> <li>Strong database operations experience (backup/restore, replication, performance tuning, access management)</li> <li>Strong experience with Terraform </li> <li>CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab, GitHub)</li> <li>Strong experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate, AKS, EKS)</li> <li>Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch)</li> <li>Exposure to security tooling (WAF, SIEM, vulnerability management)</li> <li>Experience in production operations (incident response, on-call, RCA)</li> <li>Strong understanding of networking, security, and system design</li> <li>Ability to support multiple SaaS products and environments</li> </ul> <h2>Nice to Have</h2> <ul> <li>Multi-cloud or hybrid architecture experience</li> <li>Cost optimization and performance tuning</li> <li>Experience supporting global deployments across time zones</li> <li>Jira / Confluence experience</li> <li>Senior level experience with Okta, including workflows, application integrations, SSO/MFA, lifecycle management, and identity automation</li> <li>Strong customer-facing communication skills</li> <li>Ability to support regional clients and escalation handling</li> <li>Comfortable working across distributed teams (US, Europe)</li> </ul> <h2>Key Traits</h2> <ul> <li>Proactive communicator  </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Strong coordination and ownership mindset  </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Ability to operate independently in a remote-first setup </li> </ul> This position is subject to compliance with the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR") and may require a U.S. person status verification.<div class="content-conclusion">We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
