DevOps Engineer

PLANET S.A., the leading Greek management and project management consulting and Enterprise solution company, is looking for a highly skilled professional DevOps Engineer, to join their extensive Digital Services and Solutions division.

Working within the Planet software development and Digital Services and Solutions division will provide candidates with an agile and sheltered cooperation environment for developing their skills as well as being productive in large enterprise projects in Greece and abroad.

Our development teams work in a highly agile manner and within a mentored scheme for skills’ development of team members.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure automation of deployments, configuration management, containerization, lifecycle support (pipelines)

- Monitoring and troubleshooting large cluster environments

- Preparing and managing releases of software components

- Preparing documentation and knowledge resources

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience

- Good knowledge of kubernetes

- Experience working with Gitlab, Docker, ArgoCD and Jenkins

- Experience working with infrastructure automation frameworks like Terraform

- Experience working with cloud computing services like Microsoft Azure and AWS

- Knowledge in Monitoring/Logging Systems with Grafana, Prometheus and ELK stack

- Strong background working with Linux environment

- Excellent collaboration and written and verbal communication skills

- Bs/Ms degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject

Experience in any of the following will be considered as a plus:

- Experience in Weblogic, JBOSS AS, Tomcat

- Experience with helm charts
