<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a <span class="notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="1">DevOps Engineer</span> with a strong background in <span class="notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="3">AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker</span>, and <span class="notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="5">CI/CD pipelines</span> to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure, optimizing deployment workflows, ensuring system reliability, and driving cost efficiency across our cloud environments. You will work closely with development teams to support <span class="notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="7">microservices-based architectures</span> and implement best practices for scalability, performance, and security.</p>
<p><strong><span class="notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="0">Responsibilities</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="line-height: 2;"><strong>Design, implement, and maintain</strong> scalable infrastructure using <strong>AWS</strong> services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Route53, CloudWatch, etc.).</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;"><strong>Manage and optimize Kubernetes (EKS)</strong> clusters, including deployment strategies, scaling, and resource management.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;"><strong>Build and maintain Docker images</strong> and container orchestration workflows for application environments.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;"><strong>Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines</strong> (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;"><strong>Collaborate with software engineers</strong> to design, deploy, and maintain <strong>microservices-based systems</strong>.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;"><strong>Monitor system health</strong>, performance, and availability using modern observability tools and dashboards.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Implement and manage <strong>DNS, SSL/TLS certificates</strong>, and load balancers for secure and efficient routing.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Perform <strong>database management</strong> tasks (backup, restore, performance tuning, scaling, and cost optimization).</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Lead initiatives for <strong>infrastructure improvements, automation, and cost savings</strong> across cloud environments.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Contribute to <strong>infrastructure-as-code (IaC)</strong> using tools like <strong>Terraform</strong> or <strong>CloudFormation</strong>.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Ensure <strong>security, compliance, and reliability</strong> in production systems through proactive monitoring and best practices.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Participate in on-call rotation and incident response when necessary.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills & Experience </strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="line-height: 2;"><strong>3-5 years of experience</strong> in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure role.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Hands-on experience with <strong>AWS Cloud services</strong> (especially EKS, EC2, SQS, RDS, and VPC).</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Strong expertise with <strong>Kubernetes (EKS)</strong> and <strong>Docker</strong> in production environments.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Proven experience implementing and maintaining <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong>.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Proficiency in <strong>scripting languages</strong> such as Bash, Python, or Go.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Experience managing <strong>databases</strong> (MySQL, PostgreSQL) in the cloud.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Familiarity with <strong>DNS management, SSL/TLS certificates</strong>, and <strong>reverse proxies/load balancers</strong> (e.g., Nginx, ALB).</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Understanding of <strong>microservices architecture</strong> and distributed system design.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Experience with <strong>infrastructure automation</strong> and <strong>IaC tools</strong> (Terraform, CloudFormation).</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Strong focus on <strong>monitoring, logging, and performance optimization</strong> (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Bonus Skills </strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Experience with deploying and maintaining PHP/Laravel applications</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Experience with <strong>cost monitoring tools</strong> (AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, etc.).</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Knowledge of <strong>security and compliance frameworks</strong> (SOC2, ISO27001, etc.).</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Exposure to <strong>GitOps workflows</strong> using tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Familiarity with <strong>serverless</strong> and <strong>event-driven architectures</strong>.</li>
<li style="line-height: 2;">Prior experience working in <strong>Agile</strong> or <strong>DevSecOps</strong> environments.</li>
