Compensation: Starting at 50.00/hr plus 5.09 for Health and Wellness

Hours: Varied based on location but both days and nights will be available 

Overview

The Diagnostic Radiologic Technician performs radiographic imaging procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The technician operates radiographic equipment and ensures patient safety and image quality.

Primary Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for radiologic examinations.

  • Operate radiographic imaging equipment.

  • Position patients and capture diagnostic X-ray images.

  • Adjust equipment settings and select exposure factors.

  • Review images for clarity and retake images when necessary.

  • Maintain imaging documentation and patient records.

  • Perform examinations including chest, joints, extremities, and gastrointestinal imaging.

  • Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.

  • Follow infection control and radiation safety standards.

  • Provide portable X-ray services throughout the facility.

  • Participate in emergency and after-hours imaging coverage.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification as Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

  • Minimum 2 years diagnostic imaging experience.

  • Must have worked as an X-Ray technologist in a hospital within the last six months.

  • Professional liability insurance required.

  • Ability to work at least six months after start date.
