About the role

<h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3> <p>We’re looking for our first <strong>Digital Marketing Lead </strong>to own and scale our digital presence across <strong>web, social, email, paid media, and analytics</strong>.</p> <p>This role sits at the center of how we show up online. You’ll be responsible for <strong>building, launching, and optimizing digital experiences and distribution</strong>, with a strong focus on <strong>social and email as core growth and engagement channels.</strong></p> <p>You should be equally comfortable <strong>shipping a blog post, running paid campaigns, analyzing performance, and engaging directly with our deeply technical audience.</strong></p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3> <p><strong>Social Media &amp; Community&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own day-to-day management of social channels (X, LinkedIn, others as relevant)</li> <li>Plan, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, X, and other channels</li> <li>Write, publish, and optimize posts that drive reach, engagement, and credibility</li> <li>Actively engage with the community: replies, comments, DMs, and conversations</li> <li>Identify and capitalize on timely moments, conversations, and trends</li> <li>Manage social calendar while staying flexible to real-time opportunities</li> <li>Track performance and continuously refine what works</li> </ul> <p><strong>Email Marketing&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own newsletter strategy and execution (announcements, blogs, research, updates)</li> <li>Write, build, and send emails that are clear, compelling, and on-brand</li> </ul> <p><strong>Web &amp; CMS (Core Surface)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own website updates and blog publishing (CMS-driven)</li> <li>Ensure blog posts and landing pages are cleanly formatted, performant, and aligned with brand</li> <li>Partner with design to improve UX and conversion</li> <li>Maintain site hygiene: QA, responsiveness, SEO/AEO best practices (metadata, structure, internal linking)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Analytics &amp; Performance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own digital performance tracking across web, social, email, and paid</li> <li>Build dashboards and surface actionable insights</li> <li>Use data to inform strategy and prioritization</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What You Bring</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5–7+ years in digital marketing, growth, or content distribution roles</li> <li>Strong track record of owning and growing <strong>social and email channels</strong></li> <li>Experience with CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress, Contentful, etc.)</li> <li>Hands-on experience with paid media campaigns</li> <li>Deep familiarity with analytics and performance tracking</li> <li>Strong writing instincts across formats (social, email, web)</li> <li>High agency and a bias toward shipping</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Tools &amp; Systems</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>CMS:</strong> Webflow, WordPress, Contentful</li> <li><strong>Email:</strong> HubSpot, Mailchimp, Customer.io, or similar</li> <li><strong>Social:</strong> Native platforms, scheduling tools (Hypefury, Sprout, Buffer, etc.)</li> <li><strong>Analytics:</strong> GA4, native social/email analytics, Looker/Mixpanel</li> <li><strong>Paid Media:</strong> LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, X, Meta</li> <li><strong>SEO:</strong> Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console</li> <li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Figma, Notion, Slack</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></h3> <p>This role owns how we <strong>distribute ideas and engage our audience at scale</strong>.
