About the role

The Impact you’ll make

  • Build, QA and send Mailchimp campaigns and automations (promotions, newsletters, reminders).
  • Maintain subscriber lists, segments, and basic audience hygiene.
  • Track performance and suggest improvements (subject lines, send times, CTAs).
  • Create on-brand marketing graphics (ads, social images, email headers, flyers) using established colors, fonts and layouts.
  • Produce resize variants for multiple platforms and formats.
  • Ensure all assets are proofed for spelling, size, and logical consistency before publishing.
  • Schedule and publish posts to Facebook and Instagram following content calendar.
  • Monitor basic engagement and surface comments/messages that need client attention.
  • Repurpose email and campaign assets into social content.
  • Assist with simple funnel creation (lead capture, nurture sequences, booking funnels) to grow appointments and memberships.
  • Coordinate landing page copy/assets and email follow-ups to drive conversions.
  • Track funnel performance and propose optimizations.
  • Own end-to-end task quality — fix mistakes proactively and apply learnings to prevent repeats.
  • Provide weekly updates and simple performance reports.
  • Participate in an initial training onboarding and weekly check-ins; execute with minimal hand-holding thereafter.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven intermediate-level Canva design experience producing marketing assets.
  • Practical email marketing experience (campaign creation, segmentation, QA; Mailchimp experience is preferred but not mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience with funnel marketing or campaign funnels.
  • Ability to work US CST business hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CST) reliably.
  • Demonstrated history of working independently with strong attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
  • WFH Set-Up:
    • Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
    • Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
    • Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
    • Back-up computer and internet connection
    • Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
  • Technical
    • Canva (intermediate) — design and template use
    • Mailchimp or other email platforms — campaign setup and sending
    • Social platform posting (Facebook, Instagram) and basic image optimization
    • Basic understanding of funnels and conversion-driven content

  • Soft skills / traits
    • Ownership mentality — admits and fixes mistakes without excuses
    • High attention to detail — catches spelling and logical errors before submission
    • Self-starter — requires minimal hand-holding after onboarding
    • Clear communicator and dependable for weekly check-ins
    • Organized and deadline-driven
  • You prefer clear processes and take pride in producing error-free work
  • You enjoy applying design skills to customer-facing marketing materials
  • You can own tasks end-to-end and proactively improve workflows
  • You value accountability, follow-through, and working with a small local business
  • Remote position

  • Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system
  • 40 hours per week
