Digital Reporter - Fox Sports

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and edit high-quality content across all foxsports.com.au platforms with a focus on speed, accuracy and increasing user engagement
• Drive audience growth and subscriptions to Foxtel and Kayo products through compelling and timely sports coverage
• Stay across key issues and events spanning a wide variety of sports, with a seasonal focus on cricket, ensuring comprehensive news coverage
• Deliver breaking news, live event coverage, reaction pieces and talking points to keep fans informed and engaged
• Step up to lead the team when required and undertake homepage shifts for the foxsports.com.au website
• Promote content across the site and social media channels using engaging headlines, story sells, images and video to maximise reach
• Monitor and respond to digital readership metrics to better understand evolving user trends and consistently deliver content that resonates with our audience

About your experience

• 3-5 years of experience reporting at a digital sports news network, with a proven track record of telling stories and engaging audiences in an innovative and exciting way
• Detailed knowledge across a wide variety of sports (ideally a cricket-lover) combined with a genuine passion for sport and the ability to communicate that enthusiasm to a broad audience
• Experience leveraging social media platforms to tell compelling stories and drive traffic to websites and apps
• A deep passion for digital news and a strong understanding of what makes content resonate in today's fast-moving media landscape
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced team environment
• Proven ability to work at pace and deliver high-quality content under pressure, particularly during live events and peak periods
• Proactive, reliable and adaptable, with a strong team-first mindset and the drive to take initiative and consistently deliver results
