Digitization Operations Team Lead (GEOINT Imagery)

This cutting-edge program will involve training for all new team members.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Your Impactful Duties:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary liaison between contractor personnel and government stakeholders.</li> <li>Serves as the primary point of contact for all technical issues related to digitization equipment and software, providing troubleshooting assistance and coordinating repairs as necessary.</li> <li>Coordinate daily activities of the team, including work assignments, quality control processes, and performance monitoring.</li> <li>Assist in oversight of work schedules, time-off requests, coordinating backup coverage, and onboarding/offboarding personnel with the COR.</li> <li>Oversee technical operations of scanning equipment, ensuring optimal performance and coordinating preventive maintenance.</li> <li>Monitor production metrics and provide weekly status updates/reports to government Project Manager in parallel with reporting deliverables.</li> <li>Lead quality control efforts, including random sampling of digitized products to maintain accuracy standards.</li> <li>Conduct training as required, in collaboration with government personnel, focusing on library operations, scanning processes, and data management functions.</li> <li>Ensure that all team members adhere to health and safety guidelines while using digitization equipment and handling film.</li> <li>Evaluate workflow processes and standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation as needed.</li> <li>Digitizing and storing space-based and airborne film in various formats.</li> <li>Operating and maintaining various types of film scanners.</li> <li>Tagging, indexing, and converting raw TIFF images into different GEOINT file formats.</li> <li>Using and creating GEOINT file formats, including TIFF, GeoTIFF, NITF, and NPJE.</li> <li>Using GEOINT software like ENVI, ArcGIS, IrfanView, and Google Earth.</li> <li>Adding location tags references and correcting distortion in images.</li> <li>Provide information on activities accomplished including metrics on a weekly basis.</li> <li>Test alignment of scanning machines based on Manufacturer provided procedure and report results.</li> <li>Interface and coordinate with Government Employees.</li> <li>Plan work for day and week based on Government provided priorities.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Knowledge of:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Cloud services, tape storage, and long-term data stora.ge</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">The Intelligence Community, Department of Defense organizations, and the USG security classification system.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">GEOINT-based artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML).</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">The process of silver recovery from hardcopy film.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Data transmission.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Requirements</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>An active TS/SCI clearance or a TS (with the ability to obtain a CI poly)</li> <li>This role is essential; we need someone reliable who shows up ready to work.</li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Applicants must meet the physical requirements of the job, including the ability to lift and carry 25 pounds, reach above the head, stand for prolonged periods, escort uncleared vendors over significant distances, and push carts weighing over 45 pounds.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">The on-site Team Lead must possess prior leadership skills and have experience leading digitization operations environments Assist Collecting images, metadata, ephemeris data, and location data from U.S. space-based and airborne reconnaissance platforms.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Must be capable of working at elevated heights, bending, and kneeling.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Individuals must accurately distinguish colors on various film types and systems.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">CASE<em> Management Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
