About the role
Overview
The Director, Business Development will lead client acquisition and growth:
- Build trust and mutually respectful relationships with key referral sources (doctors, psychologists, therapy providers, insurance payors, schools, community groups, etc.).
- Distribute marketing materials (flyers, brochures, etc.) to prospective clients and referral sources (ensuring they are accurate/reflective of the services provided).
- Build community awareness by planning/hosting and attending key community networking events and presentations to promote InBloom and its services.
- Develop and maintain a good working rapport with all inter-department personnel including marketing, client experience/ intake and operations teams.
- Gather and analyze local market data to determine community needs and identify qualified leads.
- Develop direct B2B marketing strategy for company as well as training materials and presentations of strategy initiatives for Center Directors.
- Facilitate client transition and referral coordination/referent feedback by collaboration with the appropriate Centers.
- Coordinate and oversee marketing strategies and programs including referral development, contracts, intake, sales-force tracking, social media, advertising, public relations, and community relations.
- Works closely with Center Directors to coordinate business development activities with Center Directors.
- Responsible for training Center Directors on effective marketing strategies virtually as well as in person
- Review weekly/monthly SOCs to ensure CDs are engaged in outreach and business development as well as monitor productivity and effectiveness of the marketing efforts.
- Submit reports on marketing trends, referral sources, contracts to leadership monthly.
*Position may be REMOTE based however candidates must reside in any of the following states: Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Texas and/or Wisconsin.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
- Five (5) years of experience in marketing/business development in healthcare.
- Proven sales success preferably in healthcare environment
- Works collaboratively and independently – responsible for outcomes in marketing and for client business development
- Outstanding communication skills (oral and written) required; strong influence and persuasion skills to successfully grow client pipelines
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Travel required
- Regular travel (50-75%) to different regions
