What you will do:   Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, the Procurement Director – Capital Projects is responsible for leading procurement and contract management activities across the project delivery phases of Electra’s demonstration and commercial facilities as well as supporting any critical operational procurement projects. This owner-side role will help build and implement company procedures and governance for projects procurement and supply chain management and develop strategic supplier relationships to support long-term project and operational objectives. The role will directly manage key supplier contracts and supplier relationships for Electra, while providing oversight of EPC-led procurement activities  Responsibilities include: <ul> <li>Develop and execute procurement strategies for major capital and operational projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budgets</li> <li>Lead the tendering, negotiation, and award of key contracts directly with the company</li> <li>Build and implement supply chain procedures and governance frameworks for capital projects </li> <li>Oversee EPC procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices</li> <li>Directly manage procurement activities and relationships with strategic suppliers</li> <li>Manage contract administration, change orders, claims, and supplier performance for owner-side contracts</li> <li>Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records </li> <li>Serve as a key member of the owner Project Management Team, collaborating closely with project managers, engineering, and construction teams to define procurement needs and specifications</li> <li>Support interface management between suppliers, contractors, EPC, and internal teams </li> <li>Track and report on procurement progress, risks, and issues; ensure timely resolution of supply chain challenges</li> <li>Facilitate the integration of supply chain activities into overall project execution plans, including project execution, commissioning and operational readiness </li> <li>Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to support both immediate project objectives and long-term company goals</li> <li>Represent the project in meetings with suppliers, contractors, EPC, and external partners</li> <li>Champion safety, quality, and operational readiness in all supply chain activities</li> <li>Ensure supplier compliance with safety and quality standards</li> <li>Establish feedback loops to capture lessons learned and drive ongoing improvement in procurement, contract management, and supply chain governance processes</li> </ul> What we need you to bring to the team:    <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field</li> <li>15+ years’ experience in procurement and contracts for major capital projects ($50MM to $1B), ideally in Oil & Gas, Mining & Metals, energy or related. </li> <li>Provides strategic leadership in supplier management by establishing long-term sourcing strategies, driving high‑value negotiations, and implementing enterprise‑wide supplier risk frameworks that support organizational goals </li> <li>Leads complex EPC project delivery at scale, directing multi‑disciplinary teams and external partners, resolving cross‑functional challenges, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, budget expectations, and long‑range operational plans</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in contract strategy, administration, and claims management</li> <li>Makes final decisions on implementation plans and ensures initiatives drive operational effectiveness across the organization</li> <li>Demonstrates mastery of the core functional domain and how it integrates within the company and industry environment</li> <li>Translates strategic objectives into executable plans and ensures alignment across cross-functional teams</li> <li>Regularly interacts with senior management, executives, and major customers, including negotiating on issues of significant importance to the company</li> <li>Communicates strategic direction effectively throughout the organization to drive alignment and execution </li> <li>Brings prior experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and leaders in a fast-paced, technology-focused setting</li> </ul> <div> <div class="job__description body"> Compensation:    <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="6" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559683":0,"335559684":-2,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $170,000-$190,000 and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.  </li> </ul> Benefits For You:   <ul> <li>100% paid premiums across all medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance plans </li> <li>Reasonable use PTO </li> <li>$1,800 in annual employer HSA contributions (health savings account) </li> </ul> Benefits For Your Family:   <ul> <li>100% paid premiums across all medical, dental, vision, and telemedicine plans </li> <li>12 weeks of paid parental leave </li> </ul> Benefits For Your Future:   <ul> <li>401k with up to 5% matching contributions which vest 100% on day one  </li> <li>Eligibility for incentive stock options </li> </ul> If you need an accommodation during the application or interview process, reach out to us at <a href="mailto:careers@electra.earth">careers@electra.earth</a> We’re here to help. </div> </div>
