We are proud to serve as the parent company of:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Hanwha Renewables</strong> – specializing in utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS)</li> <li><strong>Chariot Energy</strong> – providing retail electricity services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in deregulated markets</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p> <p>The Director, Corporate Partnership Engagement position&nbsp;is responsible for&nbsp;sourcing,&nbsp;structuring, and executing offtake opportunities with corporate and industrial (C&amp;I) energy buyers.&nbsp;As part of this role, you will work&nbsp;in&nbsp;cross-functional&nbsp;teams to&nbsp;formulate comprehensive energy solutions that&nbsp;leverage&nbsp;the expansive range of&nbsp;products&nbsp;and services the Hanwha Group can provide, including&nbsp;solar,&nbsp;battery&nbsp;energy&nbsp;storage, energy trading,&nbsp;and gas generation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful candidate will bring an established network of corporate energy procurement relationships and a demonstrated track record of originating and closing transactions with C&amp;I customers. The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management. All duties will be assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><u>Origination and Relationship Management</u>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Identify, originate, and cultivate relationships with&nbsp;C&amp;I&nbsp;energy buyers.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Leverage existing relationships with energy managers, procurement leads, sustainability teams, and&nbsp;senior management to&nbsp;introduce Hanwha Energy’s offerings.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Engage&nbsp;power-intensive&nbsp;corporate&nbsp;customers&nbsp;through&nbsp;bilateral&nbsp;approaches&nbsp;to understand their energy, environmental,&nbsp;and infrastructure&nbsp;needs&nbsp;both near and long-term.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><u>Solution Design and Structuring</u>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Develop&nbsp;and&nbsp;structure&nbsp;commercial&nbsp;frameworks&nbsp;that&nbsp;go beyond&nbsp;traditional&nbsp;PPA structures and address complex needs of customers&nbsp;including speed to power, resource diversity, decarbonization,&nbsp;and cost optimization.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Lead cross-functional teams through contract negotiations and execution, developing solutions to&nbsp;commercially&nbsp;and technically complex challenges.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prepare&nbsp;investment&nbsp;memoranda and supporting material&nbsp;for&nbsp;senior&nbsp;management.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><u>Market &amp; Policy&nbsp;Development&nbsp;</u>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Work in tandem with the Government Relations and Market Development teams to&nbsp;monitor&nbsp;and influence changes in interconnection,&nbsp;tariffs, market&nbsp;products&nbsp;and other relevant matters.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Engage&nbsp;in&nbsp;industry&nbsp;groups&nbsp;and&nbsp;monitor&nbsp;regulatory&nbsp;developments&nbsp;to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;new&nbsp;opportunities,&nbsp;risks, and market solutions.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+&nbsp;years&nbsp;of&nbsp;experience&nbsp;in&nbsp;power&nbsp;marketing,&nbsp;origination,&nbsp;or&nbsp;procuring&nbsp;energy on behalf of&nbsp;corporate energy buyers.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Deep&nbsp;and actionable network of&nbsp;relationships with C&amp;I buyers and in at least one target region.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Direct transaction experience in ERCOT, PJM, or CAISO, across a variety of deal structures.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Expert-level knowledge of offtake structuring instruments including VPPAs, financial hedges, tolling agreements, and emerging structures.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Advanced&nbsp;understanding&nbsp;of&nbsp;U.S.&nbsp;utility-scale&nbsp;solar&nbsp;development,&nbsp;power&nbsp;markets,&nbsp;project finance,&nbsp;and&nbsp;customer&nbsp;segments.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s&nbsp;degree&nbsp;or&nbsp;higher&nbsp;in&nbsp;business,&nbsp;engineering,&nbsp;sustainability,&nbsp;finance,&nbsp;or&nbsp;related&nbsp;field.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;quickly&nbsp;step&nbsp;into&nbsp;new&nbsp;tasks&nbsp;and&nbsp;adapt&nbsp;to&nbsp;new&nbsp;circumstances&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;dynamic&nbsp;environment.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience&nbsp;successfully&nbsp;operating&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;geographically&nbsp;dispersed&nbsp;organization&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;plus.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent&nbsp;interpersonal,&nbsp;time&nbsp;management,&nbsp;communication,&nbsp;and&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;building&nbsp;skills.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Willing&nbsp;to&nbsp;travel&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;40%&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;time&nbsp;in&nbsp;North&nbsp;America.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><strong>COMPENSATION: </strong>$180,000 - $210,000 salary</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Attention external recruitment firms, we will not accept any unsolicited resumes at this time.
