If you’re driven to solve meaningful challenges, we’d love to meet you.</p></div><p><strong>What we do:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and innovative Director of Digital Marketing to lead our North America media strategy and digital marketing efforts. This role will own the vision, planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of integrated digital marketing programs that drive brand awareness, audience engagement, demand generation, and commercial impact.</p> <p>As a team leader, you will oversee all paid digital channels, guide audience segmentation and account-based marketing strategies, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Development, Client Services, and Analytics teams. You will also serve in a global capacity, helping shape best practices and scalable strategies across regions (APAC and EMEA).</p> <p>This is an ideal opportunity for a marketing leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, understands the evolving B2B digital landscape, and is passionate about driving measurable business outcomes through best-in-class approaches to digital marketing campaigns.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own the North America (NAMER) digital media strategy, developing best-in-class integrated media and campaign plans that drive awareness, engagement, pipeline growth, and revenue contribution.</li> <li>Serve as the organization's strategic advisor on media planning, audience strategy, measurement, channel optimization, and creative activation, partnering closely with Campaigns, Brand, Operations, Product Marketing, Sales, and Analytics teams.</li> <li>Leverage first-party, third-party, intent, behavioral, and proprietary data to effectively reach and engage key personas and target accounts.</li> <li>Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and investment allocation across all paid digital channels, ensuring alignment with leadership budget guidance and marketing goals.</li> <li>Drive ongoing optimization, testing, and innovation across channels, audiences, creative, identity solutions, and measurement methodologies to improve effectiveness and efficiency of media budget.</li> <li>Define measurement frameworks, KPIs, reporting standards, and executive performance reviews, ensuring digital marketing investments are clearly connected to business impact and actionable insights.</li> <li>Provide strategic leadership for the in-house digital marketing and programmatic teams, establishing operating cadence, and a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of digital marketers, strengthening strategic and technical capabilities, and expanding the team's overall impact.</li> <li>Serve as the primary relationship owner for key media, technology, data, and measurement partners, continuously evaluating new vendors, partnerships, and emerging capabilities that strengthen marketing performance.</li> <li>Partner with Business Development teams to share audience insights, engagement trends, campaign learnings, and industry best practices that support customer conversations and commercial growth.</li> <li>Serve as consultant on our B2B sales strategy, informing our B2B client partnerships and pitches with your knowledge of programmatic best practices to accelerate sector growth.</li> <li>Partner with EMEA and APAC digital marketing counterparts to scale best practices, innovation, and performance across regions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who you are:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>12+ years of experience in digital marketing, media strategy, performance marketing, and demand generation, with significant experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or advertising technology environments.</li> <li>Proven experience leading integrated media strategies across programmatic, paid social, paid search, direct digital, and emerging channels.</li> <li>Deep expertise in B2B marketing best practices, audience targeting, account-based marketing, complex buying journeys, and partner landscape.</li> <li>Strong understanding of modern programmatic advertising ecosystems, including DSPs, audience platforms, identity solutions, measurement methodologies, and attribution frameworks.</li> <li>Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar media budgets and optimizing investments against business outcomes.</li> <li>Experience leading and developing high-performing digital marketing or media teams.</li> <li>Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex performance data into strategic recommendations and executive-level insights.</li> <li>Experience managing agency, publisher, platform, and technology partner relationships.</li> <li>Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.</li> <li>Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms including Marketo and Salesforce.</li> <li>Experience leveraging BI and analytics tools such as Tableau.</li> <li>Global marketing experience and success working across international teams.</li> <li>Passion for innovation and identifying emerging opportunities in media, measurement, audience strategy, and marketing technology.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>The Trade Desk does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. &nbsp;Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Trade Desk also offers a competitive benefits package.
