<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We’re looking for a Director, Center of Excellence (CoE) – Accounting to architect, lead, and scale our global accounting transactional processes from Bengaluru. You will own the design, standardization, and execution of all core accounting operations globally—driving a step-change in efficiency, control, and scalability. You will operate at the intersection of operations, transformation, and leadership, with a clear expectation to deliver measurable business outcomes at scale. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This is a full-time position based out of our Bangalore office and reports to the Chief Accounting Officer based in Oakland, CA. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What You’ll Do<br></strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Global Accounting Operations at Scale</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead the global CoE spanning teams managing the O2C, P2P, H2R, R2R, and Tax processes locally along with the functional leaders for these processes based in the US.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish a globally consistent operating model that eliminates fragmentation and drives efficiency across regions.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead a team that deploys and maintains the highest standards of internal controls and is fully compliant with SOX requirements.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Transformation, Automation & Standardization</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Drive aggressive process harmonization and global standardization along with the functional leaders, reducing complexity and regional variance.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead and influence accounting transformation initiatives, including ERP optimization, workflow automation, and data-driven operations.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Performance, Metrics & Control</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Define and institutionalize best-in-class SLAs, OKRs, and KPIs across all accounting processes.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Elevate the team’s performance through strong governance, audit readiness, and process discipline.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">India Compliance Ownership</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Own and ensure 100% compliance with Indian statutory, tax, payroll, and financial regulations.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Act as the accountable leader for regulatory adherence, audits, and risk mitigation within India.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Executive Stakeholder Partnership</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Operate as a trusted partner to global leaders across Accounting, Tax, Payroll, FP&A, Legal, IT and People Operations.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Influence decision-making on systems, processes, and organizational design.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bridge global strategy with local execution, ensuring alignment and velocity.</span></li>
</ul>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Skills We’re Looking For<br></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">12–15+ years of progressive experience in accounting operations, with significant leadership in shared services / CoE environments.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Proven track record of building and scaling global accounting operations in high-growth or complex environments in the technology industry.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prior experience leading a similar function for US based SaaS or technology-driven companies is strongly preferred.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with US GAAP, particularly with respect to revenue recognition, lease accounting, internally developed software, stock based compensation, financing transactions, and SEC reporting requirements is required.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated success in leading transformation programs (automation, ERP, process re-engineering).</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong command over Indian statutory, tax, payroll, and regulatory frameworks.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Data-driven leader with experience implementing and managing metrics-driven organizations (SLAs, KPIs, OKRs).</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Exceptional stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior leadership globally.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Hands-on experience with NetSuite is preferred</span></li>
