This role involves leadership in budgeting, vendor management, compliance, sustainability, and ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of all facilities.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Please note: This role is primarily office-based in Fremont, CA with regular site visits, and the ability to travel regularly (30-40%) to visit facilities nationwide.</strong></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the overall facilities strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.</li> <li>Manage and mentor a team of facilities professionals, ensuring high performance and development.</li> <li>Develop and manage facilities CapEx and OpEx budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational efficiency and supporting long-term infrastructure planning.</li> <li>Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service quality and compliance.</li> <li>Ensure all building systems and production equipment are properly maintained through proactive preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and reliability programs.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and building codes across all facilities.</li> <li>Drive energy efficiency and sustainability programs to minimize operational costs and environmental impact.</li> <li>Oversee facility-related projects, including relocations, renovations, and capital improvements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Supervision of Personnel</strong></p> <ul> <li>This role will lead multiple teams, nationally, and will direct multiple other managers, leads and supervisors.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.</li> <li>10+ years in facilities management, with 5+ years in senior leadership role.</li> <li>Proven leadership and team management</li> <li>Strong budgeting and cost-control expertise</li> <li>Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of facilities systems and operations</li> <li>Effective communication and negotiation skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.</li> <li>CFM or similar certifications preferred; LEED and OSHA certifications a plus.</li> </ul> <p><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW245269955 BCX8">Compensation actually offered for this role will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW245269955 BCX8">&nbsp;A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">[Fremont, CA - $190,000 - $210,000]</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> <p id="isPasted"></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Why Join IEM</strong></p> <p>At IEM, you’ll join a team that powers some of the world’s most ambitious projects.
