<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Strategic HR Leadership</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals and organizational growth</li>
<li>Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, org structure, and employee engagement</li>
<li>Lead the evolution of HR infrastructure including systems, processes, and policies</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Compliance & Risk Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws and cannabis regulations</li>
<li>Manage employee files, background checks, and training certifications in line with regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Lead internal investigations and disciplinary processes as needed</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Employee Relations and Culture</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture</li>
<li>Mediate employee concerns and maintain an open-door communication model</li>
<li>Promote employee recognition, retention strategies, and team-building initiatives</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Benefits, Compensation & Payroll Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee administration of benefits programs (health, dental, 401k, PTO, etc.)</li>
<li>Support compensation analysis and ensure fair, competitive pay structures</li>
<li>Partner with payroll and finance to ensure accurate, timely processing</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Performance Management & Training</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Implement systems for goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews</li>
<li>Design and deliver leadership development and compliance training programs</li>
<li>Monitor KPIs related to retention, employee satisfaction, and organizational health</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred)</li>
<li>7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including experience in regulated industries (cannabis, healthcare, pharma, etc.)</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of labor law, HR best practices, and HRIS systems</li>
<li>Proven ability to lead across departments and influence executive leadership</li>
<li>Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills</li>
<li>Experience building HR functions in growth-stage or multi-site organizations a plus</li>
<li>Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the cannabis industry under state law</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Benefits and Compensation:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Pay range of $90,000 - $120,000 annually commensurate with experience</li>
