Our team is passionate about solving complex supply chain challenges and delivering real-world impact at scale.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong><br>Cargomatic is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement to lead and scale our sourcing strategy across all non-product spend categories. This is a highly strategic and operational role responsible for driving cost efficiency, supplier performance, and procurement governance in a fast-growing, technology-driven logistics organization.</p> <p>You will partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, HR, and Operations to build a best-in-class procurement function that enables growth, improves visibility into spend, and strengthens supplier relationships.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Strategic Leadership &amp; Governance</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute a comprehensive indirect procurement strategy aligned with company financial and operational goals</li> <li>Establish procurement policies, workflows, and compliance standards across the organization</li> <li>Partner with executive stakeholders to forecast spend, manage budgets, and support key initiatives</li> </ul> <p>Category Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead sourcing across IT, facilities, travel, corporate services, and other indirect spend categories</li> <li>Negotiate enterprise agreements and drive vendor consolidation</li> <li>Identify cost savings, process improvements, and innovation opportunities across all categories</li> </ul> <p>Supplier Management</p> <ul> <li>Build and manage a high-performing supplier ecosystem</li> <li>Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable pricing and service levels</li> <li>Implement supplier scorecards, QBRs, and performance tracking frameworks</li> </ul> <p>Operational Excellence</p> <ul> <li>Develop scalable procurement processes, reporting, and analytics</li> <li>Drive adoption of procurement tools (ERP, P2P, contract lifecycle systems)</li> <li>Partner with Finance and AP to ensure accurate spend tracking and cost controls</li> <li>Reduce maverick spend and improve organizational compliance</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field</li> <li>10+ years of relevant experience, including leadership in procurement or sourcing</li> <li>Strong experience negotiating IT, facilities, and professional services contracts</li> <li>Deep understanding of financial modeling, vendor management, and procurement operations</li> <li>Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment</li> </ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>MBA or relevant certifications (CPSM, CSCP)</li> <li>Experience implementing procurement systems or digital transformation initiatives</li> <li>Background in logistics, transportation, or high-growth tech environments</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive compensation package</li> <li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>401(k) with company match</li> <li>Paid time off and company holidays</li> <li>Flexible work environment</li> <li>Opportunity to work in a high-growth, fast-paced company</li> <li>Career growth and development opportunities</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
