Backed by world-class investors, operators, and sports &amp; entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next-generation collectibles. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Summary:&nbsp; </strong></span><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Director of Safety is critical to the safety and wellbeing of Fanatics Employees. The Director of Safety will work as a strategic partner with all departments to ensure all environmental health and safety aspects meet the standards of Fanatics and all governing bodies. By leveraging lean principles, this individual will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our associates. The Director of Safety must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the operations team and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you will be doing...</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Responsible for driving a multi-site safety mindset within Fanatics by inspiring a culture and commitment in creating a safe work environment for all associates and a willingness to comply with all Fanatics safety policies and procedures.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Influence, guide and make recommendations to site leadership teams to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly and monthly audits</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proactively make recommendations for new or updated EH&amp;S policies, procedures and related programs to bring awareness of safety and compliance and to reduce injuries and incidents (Post-incident investigation and corrective action, Audits and reporting, Risk and hazard evaluations &amp; recommendations, Incident and near miss analysis and reporting, Behavioral observation programs, Analysis of common injuries, Facility emergency response plans, Environmental compliance requirements, Return to work policies, Site Safety Data Sheet programs and compliance, Other policies, procedures and programs as necessary).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Partner with multi-locations site management to establish accountability and ownership for implementing EH&amp;S policies, procedures and program requirements; monitor progress.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Analyze safety metrics and review incident weekly and monthly incident trends to discover trends to justify the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the safety risk is highest.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Communicate consolidated EHS metrics and corrective action plans to site leadership.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support and lead the Safety Committee and the First Responder team to ensure compliance of all required certifications.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide and facilitate immediate aid for associates, visitors, vendors, or guests that need assistance or medical attention.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Create, develop and conduct training on work habits that comply with governing body regulations and Fanatics policies. Present training on all OSHA required topics reflecting the standard operating procedures.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Customize/develop toolkits that can be adapted for growth and multi locations.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure that all federal, state and local laws, regulations, standards and codes are observed.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Implement and conduct EHS audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.&nbsp;&nbsp;Identifying and evaluating hazardous conditions and practices in the facility.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure closure of action items deemed necessary from near-miss, incident, or injury reviews and EH&amp;S audits.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop controls for identified hazards; coordinate the implementation of controls that result from the hazard analysis. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazards control systems, policies, and procedures, and recommend changes that reduce associate exposure to unsafe conditions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed and new equipment introductions. Recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomic considerations, in all such efforts.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead accident and incident investigations utilizing the 5 Why system. Compile, analyze, interpret and report all accidents and findings. Track and assist in the implementation of corrective actions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Partner with Human Resources to manage all workers compensation claims.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain 5S database and perform 5S audits for all areas on a weekly basis.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Be aware of and communicate state, local and federal regulatory changes that may affect corporate strategies<strong>.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong></span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain and report daily, weekly, monthly safety metrics to be presented within the facility and the network.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as primary contact for all governmental or outside safety inspections. Act as representative of the site for any local community safety councils or committees.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you will bring</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, ergonomics or a related field required, or 5+ years’ work experience minimum.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience managing multiple direct reports.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Distribution Center or Manufacturing Safety experience with mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people preferred.</span></li> </ul> <p class="p1">&nbsp;</p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="font-size: 12pt;"><em>Ensure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don’t fall victim to fraud.&nbsp; Fanatics never seeks payment from job applicants.
